Acceptable Use Policy
The line between using RHTP Navigator and abusing it. Part of the Terms, written so the rules are obvious.
Effective May 30, 2026.
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") is part of our Terms of Service and uses the terms defined there. By using the Services you agree to it. Breaking these rules can get your access suspended or terminated, may forfeit fees, and may expose you to legal liability.
1. Use the Intelligence honestly
You agree not to:
- present the Intelligence as official, government-issued, legal, financial, or professional advice, or as a guarantee of funding, eligibility, or any outcome;
- strip, hide, or alter citations, sources, attributions, watermarks, or provenance markers, or present our research as your own original work where attribution is required;
- alter the Intelligence and then attribute the altered version to us, or use our name or marks to imply an endorsement or relationship that does not exist; or
- use the Intelligence to mislead a third party, a funder, a regulator, or the public.
2. Respect the license and the IP
Your license is for your own internal business use unless your Order grants more (such as the Consultancy License white-label rights or Association co-branding). You agree not to:
- resell, redistribute, publish, lease, sublicense, or share the Intelligence outside your organization beyond what your Order allows;
- scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, or bulk-download the website, data, or deliverables except as our public robots policy expressly permits;
- use the Intelligence or the Services to build, train, fine-tune, benchmark, or improve any competing product, dataset, index, or machine-learning model;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with paywalls, rate limits, access controls, or usage metering; or
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code or non-public methodology, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
3. Protect data and the platform
You agree not to:
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure, without our prior written permission;
- access any account, data, or area you are not authorized to access, including the operator console;
- introduce malware, or interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services, including through denial-of-service attacks or flooding the intake endpoints;
- use bots or automation to submit the wizard or checklist, create fake intakes, or defeat the bot challenge; or
- impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.
Good-faith security research is welcome through responsible disclosure; see our published security contact before testing anything.
4. Submit only what you are allowed to submit
You agree not to upload, enter, or send us:
- another party's confidential, proprietary, or trade-secret information that you are not authorized to disclose;
- protected health information or other individually identifiable health data; we are not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate and do not accept it;
- classified, export-controlled, or otherwise government-restricted information;
- sensitive personal information beyond business contact details, or personal information about others without a lawful basis;
- content that infringes a copyright, trademark, patent, or trade secret, or violates privacy or publicity rights; or
- unlawful, defamatory, harassing, deceptive, or malicious content.
5. Stay within the law
You agree not to use the Services:
- for any unlawful purpose, or to facilitate one;
- to violate procurement, lobbying, anti-fraud, false-claims, securities, or campaign-finance laws, or to prepare a knowingly false or misleading application, bid, or representation to any government or funder;
- in violation of export controls or sanctions, including by anyone on a restricted-party list or in an embargoed region; or
- to infringe or misappropriate anyone's intellectual property or other rights.
You are responsible for what you submit to a government or a funder. The Intelligence is a research input you must independently verify, never a substitute for your own compliance and counsel.
6. Account and seat integrity
Keep your credentials confidential and do not share seats or accounts beyond the named individuals your plan covers. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at wecare@rhtpnavigator.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement. We may, with or without notice, remove content, throttle or suspend access, terminate accounts, revoke licenses, and pursue any remedy available at law or equity, including injunctive relief to protect our intellectual property and the integrity of the data. A violation may forfeit fees and does not entitle you to a refund. Our decision not to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. We may update this AUP from time to time; the version posted here is the one in effect, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
8. Reporting and contact
To report abuse, a suspected violation, or a security issue, write to wecare@rhtpnavigator.com (security contact also published at /.well-known/security.txt). This AUP is part of our Terms of Service; see also our Privacy Policy.
